The first was one of these, a Chevy Cruze Hatchback
The other was much much cooler, a Camaro SS 1LE

What's the deal with this? Is this a new variant, or euro only or something?

It's a Europe only variant but I've lived here for a year and a half and it's the first one I've seen.

It looks so much better, but doesn't look like it really ads much space

GM *really* needs to sell that Cruze hatchback over here

But they won't, ever.

I'd settle for the wagon. We'd have a fleet of them at my work if they sold them here.

stupid ass Chevy should have sold that in the US with an SS variant.

But Ford already sells the Focus hatchback over here, including the Focus ST. Is the Cruze really so much better than the Focus?
You know what they *really* need to do is offer the Cruze wagon with that sweet diesel. That would make three Jalops really happy, after three unsuspecting dealers order them by mistake and sell them at a huge loss a year later.

Yeah, I will never understand why they didn't sell the Cruze hatch in the US. The market for 5-doors has been growing rapidly and its main crosstown rival comes in 2 bodies. Such a missed opportunity.
Also, since Chevy's leaving the EU, the Cruze hatch will only be available in Australasia. It was actually designed by Holden, if memory serves.

I actually kind of like the Cruze this hatchback needs to happen.

Hell yeah to the second paragraph!
The Cruze is better than the Focus since diesel is available here, albeit automatic-only sedan. And fuck both of them for not bringing the wagons over here.
A Cruze SS would be nice, too. They still use that turbo 4 in the Verano and Regal.

It isn't only for Europe. It's available in Brazil too, and it sells even better than the sedan. These cars look damn good.

Sorry, no. The existence of the Cruze diesel sedan is not a valid argument for bringing the Cruze hatchback to the US. You know damn well there is no scenario in which the diesel would ever appear in the US hatchback.

No clue why they do not sell these stateside.

We we’re wrong and we do a actually get a Cruze hatchback now. Not this one though.
